hi, i'm kevin.

If there's one thing in this world a man should strive to do, it's to make others feel something. A laugh, a smile, a tear, or a pang of heartache so sharp and exquisite that it brings with it perspective. That's what drives me. Well, that and burritos.

I'm from Long Island, NY, but found myself in Philadelphia. I've been a Brooklynite and a Chicagoan. I ride motorcycles, shoot films, write scripts, and generally make an ass out of myself in public for the reasons listed above. It's a pretty great ride, all things considered.

News & Updates

April 18, 2016

I am proud to officially announce that I will be at The Hague, Netherlands June 10 - 12 as a guest for Anime 2016! I'll be leading performance judging, as well as panels on stage acting, acting for cosplay, and generally making myself available for the sake of entertainment.

If you see me walking around, or sitting at a table somewhere, come up to me and bother me. I swear I'm up for it.

ANIME 2016 SPECIAL GUEST - KEV!

April 4, 2016

What a whirlwind ride it's been; in the last 4 months I've:

  • quit a job

  • started a new one

  • Celebrated Christmas in London

  • Celebrated New Year's in Paris

  • Bought myself something I feel I've finally earned

  • Finished two productions

  • Have been cast in a high-concept scifi productions here in Chicago

  • Am buying a condo

Things could not be better all things considered; there are still bumps in the road, but when I look back at it all, things are great.

Except, that's not how it feels. At all. I've talked about this a lot with fellow actors and artists, and there is no point that you reach when you feel like you've ever done enough. You're never actually finished, you've never actually arrived.

Everything is work and struggle and pushing and moving forward. Whether it's work for the sake of work, or work to keep moving forward is never clear when you're right in the middle of it. It's tough to have perspective. Even writing all of the above - an actual bulleted list of accomplishments and new experiences - it rings hollow. Like I lied to you about how great things are.

There's so much more yet to do, so there's no use in being happy or complacent. Or hell, it's just because it's Spring.

All the same, I am looking forward to the Next Big Thing, which is this film! I'm playing the villain. Naturally.

November 13, 2015

Oh man oh man, what a crazy few months it has been! Since March I've been:

  • Hit by a car

  • Totaled my motorcycle

  • Had a whole bunch of holes punches in me

  • Got a NEW motorcycle

  • Did my first musical (The Rocky Horror Show, natch)

  • Am doing my SECOND musical

And that SECOND bit is where this all comes in! Tonight I will be taking the stage at the Dominican University Performing Arts Center as Kyle "The Magnificent" O'Boyle in "Legally Blonde"!

It's only a one weekend run, and it's also almost sold out, but in the hope that it ain't, you can get your tickets here: http://events.dom.edu/legally-blonde-musical

Hope to see you there!

MARCH 11, 2015

Well, we've reached the end of the road for "Edgar & Annabel" at The Side Project in Rogers Park, Chicago, and it's been a fantastic, and very, very, well-reviewed run.

Our last show is this Saturday, March 14 at 8 PM CT! So I invite you to come down and enjoy what is rated as 5 stars on the Chicago Reader, and what the Chicago Stage Standard calls, "taut and darkly funny", by ordering your tickets at http://www.thepoortheatre.org!

February 14, 2015

Opening for previews tonight, and running through March 14, 2015, the Midwestern premiere of "Edgar & Annabel" is starting at The Side Project in Chicago!

It's an engaging, thought-provoking, and exciting show about politics, bombings, and karaoke. Also, I'm in it as the understudy for Miller, so you may just see me on stage during the run.

Either way, it comes highly recommended, so order tickets through The Poor Theatre!

Come and see the Midwestern premiere of this incredible, though-provoking show.

Had a fantastic time at the reading of "Agents of Azeroth" at MAGFest 2015 in Washington DC's National Harbor! Look forward to the experiencing the completed show in Washington, 2016 with the Washington Rogues!

Who knows, might see me there again on stage.

Ahhh, the illustrious cast, hard at work.
